Filly Nurse Redheart Custom

This is my very first customized pony! She's not perfect, but I'm proud of her for my premier custom ^u^

my BFF makes totally kickass customs and so I made myself her self-proclaimed protege. She's a fantastic teacher.

Nurse Redheart is my favorite pony, and I wanted to try my hand at making a filly custom of her. This must be right after she got her cutie mark (I really didn't want to leave her a blank flank).

Some specifics, her bait/base was an Apple Bloom toy, her hair is "Tea Rose" from DollyHair, and she was painted with acrylics and sealed with satin varnish. Her hat is removable, and it is made of sculpy (~saucycustoms is responsible for that, as she was kind enough to make it for me with her spare clay!). I then painted it with acrylics, sealed with satin varnish, and superglued a clear rubber band to the back. It secures around the bottom of her bun!
